Our team was engaged to investigate significant sub-surface water intrusion beneath a residential basement slab caused by regional slope, inadequate surface grading, and compromised under-slab drainage. A full geotechnical and drainage assessment was completed, including interior slab inspection, subgrade evaluation, and exterior grading review around window wells and foundation walls. We provided the homeowner with a comprehensive set of recommendations addressing surface water management, foundation drainage improvements, and long-term protection of the structure. This project highlights our ability to diagnose complex site-specific moisture issues and develop practical, engineered strategies to restore building performance and prevent future damage.
